How To Guide

Selling is Simple:

1. Become A Seller
Once you're registered, click 'Become A Seller' on your home page. Follow the next easy steps and add your business name if applicable. Once this is complete, you're officially a seller!

2. List For Free
Gather everything you have for sale and take pictures of your items, remember to take photos of buckles/straps/fastenings if applicable. Click the 'Market' items on the bottom bar and follow the steps to select the category you want your ad to be in. Describe your item as best you can, set your price and the correct postage. Upload your photos, set the condition, size and colour. You can add a booster if you want to sell your items faster or 'Highlight Your Tack Room' to advertise your profile on the home page. If you don't want to do this, press 'skip' and your ad has been created!

3. Sell It, Ship It:
Sold! Once your item has sold, click the 'Request Shipping Label' button in your sale. Your pre-paid shipping label will then be generated, please allow a little time for this to appear. This pre-paid shipping label must be used for all transactions through Equipt. You now just need to print this, stick it to your parcel and head to your nearest Post Office branch within 7 days of sale to send your parcel. All you need to do now is head back into your sale in the app, click the 'Drop Off'' button and wait for your item to be delivered. 

4. It's Payday!
There are no selling fees so what you earn is yours. As soon as the buyer has received their parcel and confirmed they are happy with it, your payment will be sent to your bank account (please allow 5-7 days for this to reach your bank).


Shop Safely & Securely:

1. Find It:
Browse and search all your favourite items, search a multitude of brands and find everything you need for you or your horse in one place. 

2. Buy It:
If you see something you like, simply click the 'Buy Now' button, pay for it and it's yours! Before you buy you can message the seller via the chat icon and ask any necessary questions before you make your purchase. You can also make an offer on any ad which will go direct to the seller for them to accept or reject. If your offer is accepted, simply pay for the item and then it's yours!

3. Get It:
Once you have paid and checked out, we'll let you know when it's on its way. You will be sent the tracking information so you can keep an eye on your parcel. In just a few days you will receive your item and receive a notification prompting you to let the seller know you're happy with your item. You can also leave them a review to rate the seller on your experience with them!

You're Safe With Us!

As a buyer, you pay a Purchase Protection fee on each transaction when using Equipt. This helps keep your money safe. If any items are lost, damaged or stolen in transit then we've got you covered. The cost of this is 8% of the item price (before postage costs) plus 80 pence. 

Reliable Refund Policy:
Your order is protected when you pay through Equipt. You'll get a refund if your item doesn't arrive, was damaged in transit or is significantly not as described. Let us know within 48 hours of delivery if something isn't right. Unless otherwise agreed, the buyer covers the return cost for the item.
